The no-news-is-good-news-story continues for us on the pregnancy front. 29 weeks and counting. Our last structural ultrasound showed two healthy hiccuping 3 pounders - both well above average in size.
Courtenay is still on complete bed rest and doing her best to stave off boredom and impatience. She's holding out some hope that, if everything remains stable, she'll be allowed to come home in a few weeks and give birth on the Island, but this might be wishful thinking. We'll have to see...
Hi Mark and Court, So good to hear the "no news". That's great and hopefully things will continue. Court - we're thinking about you all the time and know you have the strength to perservere. I can never seem to get you on the phone but will keep trying. Please call anytime. xoxo Jill

Hi guys, glad to hear things are still going well. That's exciting about maybe being able to give birth on PEI! We'll cross our fingers! Thinking of you every day - Heidi and Penzie say hi, too. Talk to you again soon, Andrea

Mark and Courtenay! That's fantastic 'no news'. I have been without a computer for the last two weeks and couldn't wait to read the latest. Keep on keepin' on.
Love you both. V.

So happy to read this news! I am rooting for all of you all the time. Those Hemphill/Metcalf boys certainly know how to make an entrance into the world. So happy to hear that they are 3lbs each! And the thing is Court and Mark, once those boys arrive you'll be wishing for a little bed rest. Can't wait to see you all again soon. love, Paula

So happy things are progressing in a positive way. V.L. and I are thinking of you and our best wishes go out to you, Courtney and the twins. The possibility of having the twins born on P.E.I. is certainly good news and we know from experience that there is no better place for Courtney and the twins than the I.W.K. Believe me Katie is one to be reckoned with and is hard to believe it was almost two years ago that we were going through a similar situation. I for one am quite confident that all will be well with everyone and after awhile you will look back on it in a surreal wonderment.
